What pre-qualified projects look like

  • A 56-acre farmhouse retreat with an investor committed and DXA designing the master plan
  • A glamping operation in Costa Rica with land secured and permits in progress
  • An RV park expanding to new sites with capital raised

These are the kinds of projects in our ecosystem. Each one has been qualified before you hear about it: the owner has land, capital, and realistic expectations. The architecture is underway. The financing is confirmed. You evaluate structured opportunities, not rescue missions. Every project owner has been evaluated for vision clarity, decision authority, asset readiness, financial maturity, and execution capacity before you hear about it.

Why most project inquiries waste your time

You know the pattern. A landowner reaches out with a "great idea." No financing. No design. No understanding of what hospitality operations actually require. You spend weeks on calls, site visits, feasibility conversations. Then the money runs out. Or the scope changes. Or the owner turns out to be impossible to work with. Finding one good project means sorting through dozens of bad ones. That's time you should be spending on operations, not vetting strangers.

Projects that arrive structured, not half-baked

Projects that reach operators have been through Fijordo's advisory process. Every project has a calibrated concept, a capital strategy, and experience design in place. Owners are qualified (2 of 3: land, capital, experience). Financing is structured. Architecture is underway. You receive full context: the project DNA, the owner, the vision, the timeline, and why we think it matches your specialty. No surprises. No cleaning up someone else's mess.

How it works

Step 1

Introduction call

We learn about your operations: specialty (glamping, farm stays, boutique lodges), geographic focus, capacity, and what your ideal project looks like. 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Network membership

You’re in. When a project from our advisory pipeline matches your profile, we reach out with full context before any introduction. No newsletters, no networking calls. Just structured opportunities when they appear.

Step 3

Facilitated matching

If you’re interested, we set up the introduction with the project owner. We provide background to both sides and support the initial conversations. If it’s not a fit, no hard feelings.

Questions you might have

Common questions about joining the Fijordo operator network.

What's the catch? Why is it free?

Our business model charges project owners, not operators. You're the supply side of the ecosystem. We need quality operators to match with our project owner clients. The better our operator network, the better we serve everyone.

I don't have time for networking that goes nowhere.

You'll only hear from us when we have a specific, pre-qualified project that matches your specialty and region. No newsletters, no events calendar, no networking calls. Just relevant opportunities when they exist.

How do I know the projects are actually good?

Every project owner is qualified: 2 of 3 must be in place (land, capital, experience). Financing is confirmed before we introduce operators. We provide full context and can arrange reference calls before you commit to anything.

I operate in a very specific niche or region.

That's exactly what we want to know. We only match projects that fit your criteria: specialty, geography, capacity, timeline. Tell us your specifics, and we'll only reach out when something genuinely fits.
